god has abandoned donnarose<3 (literally)
#well is not like he straight up abandoned the town (or well; the world but the focus is My Town) but#mercy (the angel oc) feels as if hes pretty absent. hes here but he doesnt care about the world as he apparently used to in the bible#most of their prayers go unnoticed. and theyre an angel they have a more close connection to god they *know* hes not 'taking his time'#or saying no. he *doesnt* care; but is still there to give spare punishments or give vague answers to prayers. theyre devoted to him#and thinks he knows best and cant doubt him; but. well supernatural creatures cant die unless enough damage is inflicted to their body#and even then they have more resistance than regular humans. so unless that happens or they kill themselves theyre just. here forever.#the other way for them to 'die' (specifically demons; vampires; and ghosts; angels go to heaven) is after the rapture#but with how things are going; everyone is doubting it will happen eventually. even angels. demons are delighted though#with god being so absent the world may as well be theirs lmao reason they feel so free to be cruel and poke fun at angels#they doubt they will get any sort of divine punishment in like... forever. and if they do is nothing they cant handle so.#its free real estate <3#oc talk
